Chevron Rug DIY

I saw an AWESOME home decor diy over the summer (Source: Little Green Notebook), and I new I had to try my hand at it. I chose the same colour pattern because it just happened to match most of the stuff in my room already. It turned out really nicely! I wish I'd made all the zigs and zags a little pointier and thicker, but I would certainly say this one's a keeper :)

I picked up a cheap white rug from Ikea, which only set me back $20

All taped up and ready to paint

I was a little nervous when I saw it still with the tape on, but...

VOILA! It looked great! I'm really happy with it, and it was super easy and quick.
